When using CRM across multiple nations, language can be a major barrier, particularly if admins and users come from two separate non-English-speaking nations. To order to prevent this inconvenience, Freshsales allows users to use the language of their choosing regardless of the language adopted by the admin.

In the same way, you will have to realize that there are two types of Freshsales language options:

  • Account Language: The language that is defined by the administrator and is the default language for the user.

  • User Language: The language that is used for individual user profiles and will only apply to individual users.

How is this helpful?
Let us assume, for example, that you work for an organization headquartered in the United Kingdom while your vertical company operates outside Italy. In this scenario, the Account Administrator, who oversees operations outside London, may set the account language as English. However, as a user operating outside Italy and catering to Italian clients, you would like to use a CRM customized to your geography.You can also choose the language of the user as Italian.

In this case, since your user language is chosen as Italian, all features will be translated into Italian while remaining in English for the Admin Account. However, if you have not changed the language, the Admin language, i.e. English, will be the default language.

QUICK STEPS: Profile icon > Settings > Other Settings > Language



  1. On your Freshsales platform, head to the Quick actions bar and click on the profile  icon . This opens up the Profile settings section.

  1. Find the Settings option and click on the same.

  2. On the settings page, head to the Other settings tab and click on the same.

  3. Under Other Settings, go to the language option and choose the language of your choice and click Save. This has updated the Freshsales platform to the language of your choice.
